Stained Glass Framed Candle Sconce/Hanging Shelf

$100.00
Sold Out

This piece is the love of my life. Shaped like a coffin, the center is double clear glass backed in black velvet, and the frame is a lightly textured gray glass (clear). The shelf at the bottom is the gray glass topped with clear glass. Inside of it is a Queen Anne’s Lace bloom and a fall Aster. On the main part you’ll find the wings of a beautiful white butterfly (origin story begins in a Dallas garden), the center of which is replaced with Viburnum buds and a flower. Beneath that are Oxalis blooms, Four O’clock flowers, Cow Parsley, Blue Mistflower, Balloon Vine blooms, Salvia, and some weird maroon things my sister gave me a while back. At the top a fancy little embellishment has been soldered in. The shelf can hold lightweight items like a small candle, jewelry, etc. It hangs from a stainless steel chain, and the back is lined in velvet to protect your walls. The soldered edges are stained black and polished.

9.75”H and 6”W

All designs are original and are drawn and cut by myself. The flowers pressed are from my garden, or responsibly collected in rare cases.

  • All flowers fade. Keeping them out of direct sunlight will greatly slow the process.

  • Please do not hang from a suction cup. Do to the item’s weight and fragility, it is best to have a strong anchor such as a nail or hook.

  • Do not submerge in water, but instead wipe with a damp rag.
