Stained Glass wall Shelf with Pressed Flowers
This is the first piece like this that I’ve made. It’s a wall mounted stained glass “shelf” for small, lightweight items. (tea light, curiosities, etc) The main piece is backed in white and brown streaked glass, and within clear glass holds two kinds of daisies, sweet clover, fleabane, tickweed, Queen Anne’s Lace, and more. The shelf is white and brown streaked opaque glass and encased in glass it has a Queen Anne’s Lace bloom. It is 9.5”Hx4.25”W and the shelf is 2.25” out from the wall.
The soldered edges are stained black and polished to a shine. It hangs from a stainless steel chain and needs to be anchored with a hook or nail, etc.
***Please do not submerge in water - wipe clean with a damp rag.
***Flowers naturally fade over time. If kept out of direct sunlight, the process will be much slower.
